DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: We're currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our team as an Environmental, Health & Safety Intern. This intern position is Full-Time with a minimum 12-week assignment for the upcoming summer from mid-May to mid-August. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary as well as a monthly housing stipend. This position will be based at our Lancaster, PA location (see location-specific information below).
Primary Responsibilities * Support Environmental, Health and Safety department with current projects and initiatives * Attend all meetings with department mentor * Participate in designated projects as well as day to day aspects of Environmental, Health and Safety work at the Lancaster, PA facility * Key Objectives
A successful candidate should possess: * Aptitude for problem-solving * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment * Willingness to take initiative to understand the business
Basic Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health or related major with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026 * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This is a safety sensitive position. * 3.0 GPA and above * Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity (school club, part-time employment, etc.
