Employee functions as an adjunct instructor in the Aviation Maintenance Program, serving as the primary source of instruction in the classroom or workshop to teach courses in Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones) Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 licensure and in related courses. Must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of the specific technical skills required in all areas of unmanned air systems, to include general drone operation, current Federal Aviation Administration Remote Pilot License (UAS Part 107), flying private aircraft subjects. The successful candidate will be able to adjust instructional technique as required by a student's learning style while maintaining a positive learning environment. Must have to the ability to collaborate with students and peers to establish a safe environment where safety is not compromised and discipline strictly enforced. This position requires in-person and evening availability.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
