Job Description
The HR Compliance Specialist Sr is responsible for supporting the coordination and oversight of various regulatory and compliance processes within Human Resources (HR). This position will work closely with the broader HR Compliance Team and will interface cross-functionally with HR departments across the organization, as well as external vendors.
Responsibilities
Oversee the processes and timely completion of employee-related compliance tasks (I-9's, trainings, monthly, annual rescreens, etc.)
Monitor healthcare practitioners licensing boards and federal and state reporting sites; requests and reviews primary source verification for new and existing providers
Support HR Compliance Team with evidence collection, redactions, responses for corporate & client audits, client request, accreditations, RFP responses, and related activities
Provide superior customer service and problem resolution as the primary contact who responds to a variety of Human Resources compliance-related policies and procedures; analyze and audit data to ensure accurate responses and processing
Responsible for maintaining, tracking, auditing, and completing accurate credentialing files within internal and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with team members on work planning and projects, including developing compliance training materials, updating process documentation and team planning and collaboration documents on Sharepoint
Accountable for the day-to-day administration of assigned programs; ensure assigned procedures are maintained; review processes and recommend changes to streamline and create efficiencies
Perform various audits to ensure data integrity with HR system(s)
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
2 years of work experience in Human Resources, office administration or customer service
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously, strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced, task/deadline-oriented environment
Strong customer focus; ability to communicate, collaborate and interface with all levels internally and externally
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to effectively analyze information to resolve issues
Proficient experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of work experience in Human Resources
Experience with HR information system(s) such as Workday
Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to “move or traverse”
Must be able to constantly operate a computer and/or other office productivity equipment
Must be able to hear and constantly communicate information and ideas. Must be able to exchange accurate information
Potential pay for this position ranges from $23.08 - $37.02 based on experience and skills.
