Logistics Supply Chain Internship

We are looking for a Logistics Supply Chain intern who will report to the Logistics/Planning Manager, and who'll be tasked with helping create dashboards for inventory accuracy, and work instructions. As part of your role, you'll be significantly contributing to making improvements in logistics. You'll be taking the lead in your own projects helping make an impact.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Follow up quick projects assigned by coordinator / manager.

Communicate and lead project progress with stakeholders.

Built databases, procedures and action plans.

Implementation and tracker of initiatives.

Logistics flow improvements/efficiencies.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

Currently a Junior, Senior or above pursuing an Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain major.

Project leader and management experience.

Technical Qualifications: Experience in excel ( pivot tables, table charts), knowledge on databases, pivot tables, and data tendencies analysis.

Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Initiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.

Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.

Preferred:

Previous internship experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Problem solving skills.

Experience and/or knowledge in Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma / Green Belt.
