Eaton Corporation Operational Technology Cybersecurity Engineer in Lansing, Michigan

Eaton’s IT team is currently seeking a Operational Technology Cybersecurity Engineer to join team. This position will be based at our Beachwood, Ohio, Moon TWP, PA, Houston, TX, Galesburg, MI, Raleigh, NC or Menomonee Falls, W or any Eaton location in the United States.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $154,000 a year.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary:

Build, Deliver, and Maintain technology, platform, and systems solutions to address business and technical requirements, leveraging standard principles and patterns.

Focused on building, delivering, and maintaining cybersecurity protections to our Operational Technology environments at Eaton manufacturing locations.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Builds, delivers, and maintains cybersecurity tools, processes and environments focused on OT protections, including but not limited to, Dragos and OT networks to meet Cybersecurity best practices and customer requirements. Works in a cross functional team with other IT and OT Engineering groups.

  2. Leads overall effort and works with resources across functions to deliver technology, platform, and system solutions to meet customer requirements, providing solution options, making recommendation, and highlighting operational or security risks, as well as providing alternative options

  3. Defines tuning and configuration parameters/settings for technologies, platforms, and systems to meet customer, operational and security requirements

  4. Leads lifecycle management activities for technology, platform, systems, and related documentation to ensure operational health and security.

  5. Monitors technology, platform, and systems to ensure required performance, availability, and capacity. Identifies and eliminates gaps in monitoring and potential impact on service delivery.

  6. Continuously seeks to more efficiently manage and utilize technology, platform, and systems

  7. Follows industry, organization, and ITIL best practices to maximize quality and efficiency

  8. Champions OT best practices across globe through industry interaction

  9. Mentors, guides, and influences others, acting as a technology thought leader

  10. Manages projects up to an enterprise-level deployment

  11. Drives decisions and deliverables across teams

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• Minimum seven (7) years of cybersecurity experience

• Minimum two (2) years in OT (Operational Technology) or ICS (Industrial Control Systems) Cybersecurity

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dragos, OT (Operational Technology) /ICS (Industrial Control Systems) Cybersecurity controls and best practices, Networking and Firewall experience

• Networking engineer prior background

• Industrial OT (Operational Technology) /ICS (Industrial Control Systems) engineering experience
