Job Title: Control Systems EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to develop and integrate advanced control systems using various programming languages and tools. You will work closely with electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into control designs, utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and programming logic controllers (PLCs).
Responsibilities
Develop control systems using various programming languages and tools.
Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate electrical systems into control designs.
Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
Program logic controllers (PLCs) and develop firmware for embedded systems.
HMI programming and development.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure functionality.
Implement surface mount technology (SMT) in the manufacturing process.
Work with FPGA technology for advanced control applications.
Ensure compliance with NEC standards and best practices in electrical engineering.
Maintain documentation of designs, processes, and modifications for future reference.
Essential Skills
Experience with Motion Control.
Experience using motion control in stepper motors.
3 years of experience in C++.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in motion control, controls engineering, stepper motors, and pumps.
Work Environment
Work on-site in a lab and machine shop environment. The department comprises a team of 4 engineers. The company is family-owned, providing a steady stream of work where the owner treats employees like family. This role offers a chance to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00
