*SUMMARY: *

The Entry Level Machine Operator position requires individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role involves learning to operate various machinery to produce coins, medals, and other products.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or Equivalent, or 6-months manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift at least 35 lbs. continuously.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills:

• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to maintain a sterile environment.
• Able to correctly monitor and use gauges, machines, and equipment.
• Able to read work orders/daily production schedules.
• Good basic math skills.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Able to properly communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Able to work as a team with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.

Other:

• Own or reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to pass a strict drug and background check.
• Ability to work on a 3 days on - 4 days off schedule.(Day shift: 5am to 5pm or Night Shift: 5 pm to 5 am).
• Adherence to strict attendance and call-in policy.

*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: *

Perform all tasks involved in the production of Sunshine Minting's products. This may include annealing, blanking, breakdown, burnishing, coining, milling, packaging, polishing, rolling, weighing or other tasks as assigned while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
