Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a part-time Payroll Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role will assist a dynamic team with processing biweekly payroll and working closely with HR on personnel changes. The Payroll Specialist must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and assist the team while they look at backfilling internal positions and updating systems. This is a part-time opportunity, working 3 days a week, located by Downtown Las Vegas.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage payroll processing for 200+ employees

• Handle funding requests associated with payroll

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now

• Transfer and manage CSV files as part of the payroll process

• Carry out responsibilities related to payroll deductions

• Reconcile payroll information to ensure accurate records

• Process bi-weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner

• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage payroll-related data

• Work closely with HR to address personnel changes and manage associated paperwork

• Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 year experience in a similar role

• Proficient in using ADP Workforce Now

• Experience in processing payroll for 200+ employees

• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll and payroll functions

• Knowledge of special payroll deductions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Excel formulas
