Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bilingual Receptionist in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role primarily involves managing and maintaining the front office of a local charter school, ensuring smooth communication across students, staff, and parents. The Receptionist will be a key point of contact, catering to inquiries both in person and over the phone, and providing linguistic assistance to our diverse community.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome, assist, and direct visitors, students, staff, and parents in a courteous and professional manner.

• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, ensuring all queries are addressed appropriately.

• Assist in translating information for parents and guardians who are non-English speakers.

• Manage and update students' records regularly, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

• Handle the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently.

• Carry out various administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and data entry to support the school's operations.

• Liaise with school staff, students, and their families to maintain open and effective communication.

• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area for all visitors.

• Provide multilingual support during school meetings, events, and communication exchanges.

Requirements • Proficiency in handling and managing inbound and outbound calls

• Demonstrated skills in providing excellent customer service

• Fluency in speaking and understanding the Spanish language

• Experience in administrative duties such as maintaining records and scheduling appointments

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in using office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers, and scanners

• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in office administration or relevant field would be a plus.
