JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Director, Global Accounting, who will be responsible for overseeing the Global Accounting/Controllership responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership to manage a diverse team, ensure compliance with accounting policies, collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders. This role will identify, design and implement approved improvement initiatives collaborating with many functions across the organization as well as external parties (vendors and customers) to successfully guide the organization’s accounting functions.
YOU ARE
Passionate about Accounting. Oversee the preparation and consolidation of global financial statements for external reporting, ensuring compliance with USGAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards. Develop and maintain global reporting policies and procedures to drive consistency and accuracy.
Focused on Compliance. You will manage audits for non-US entities by coordinating with internal and external auditors while ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements. Maintain adherence to Corporate Accounting Policies, update the Global Delegation of Authority Policy, and communicate the impact of accounting standard changes to leadership.
Possess a Continuous Improvement Mindset. Drive process improvements in month-end close and financial reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Leverage technology and ERP systems to streamline global reporting activities.
Focused on Talent Development. You will lead and mentor a global team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Manage team performance and provide training opportunities to support professional growth and excellence.
A Collaborator. Support the preparation of financial reports for executive management, board meetings, and investor relations, ensuring compliance with annual reporting requirements. Collaborate with corporate finance to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
Minimum of 8-10 years of financial reporting or general accounting experience
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field is required.
Strong communication skills and detail oriented with the ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills

Firm knowledge of basic accounting principles
Able to apply consistent standards while adapting to frequent changes in company requirements.
Be flexible and able to work with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills are required. Experience with Eclipse or similar ERP is a plus.
Experience with consolidation and reconciliation software packages such as Planful, Hyperion, Blackline or FloQast preferred.
Dependable, organized, and professional individuals who are self-motivated and owns the required tasks.
