Plant Supervisor Job Summary
As Plant Supervisor, you'll provide essential leadership and support to our manufacturing department, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. This role offers substantial autonomy while maintaining accountability through regular performance reviews.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 50-60 employees across disciplines
Foster a collaborative team environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction through quality system compliance and strategic resource planning
Manage operations within budget constraints while adhering to management system requirements
Oversee manufacturing operations with comprehensive understanding of all associate roles to ensure safety and productivity standards are met
Maintain open communication with the Director of Operations regarding production schedules, workforce needs, and employee relations
Develop leadership capabilities in team members through mentoring and skill-building initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer complaints, product issues, and rework requirements
Implement company objectives by optimizing resource management (personnel, equipment, materials) for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Requirements:
Rotating shift pattern (2-2-3) with 12-hour shifts (7AM-7PM)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols
Proficiency in standard work methodologies
