Position Summary Information

General Summary

TheStudent Intern – Budget Analysisassists the Budget Division in compiling and analyzing budget submissions for approval and adoption by the Commission.

Essential Functions

  • Compile, analyze, and summarize financial information

  • Create justification documentation in support of budget requests

  • Research other utilities for various projects

  • Analyze and manipulate large Excel databases and financial models

  • Create reports and proofread documents for accuracy

Other Functions

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Business casual office setting

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements

College student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting or related discipline.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to use MS Office applications with proficiency.

Preferences

Junior/senior preferred.
