Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Media/Technical Assistant to work onsite in Lawrence, KS. This position will be up to 35 hours/week. Office hours are from 9AM - 5PM Monday-Friday.

We are looking for a creative, data-driven Technical/Media Assistant in the website maintenance, desktop publishing funnel, and company software/hardware related tasks. This position will be working with our technical team for writing and editing technical contents to be published across multiple digital media. Willingness to learn how to maintain and refresh a website is required, and willingness to learn photo editing software knowledge is also required.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Update and refresh the look, layout, products and features of our websites.

• Research and report various computer product relevant tasks, e.g. servers, GPU, motherboards.

• Familiarity with up-to-date computer hardware products

• Create technical product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos) to articulate the benefits of our products to the market.

• Optimize and promote the companys social media profiles and presence.

• Measure, track and report results of the lead nurturing workflows to convert leads into customers.

• Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts qualified audiences to our owned properties (including websites, product catalog, email blast, whitepapers, flyers, webinars, infographics, etc.).

• Undertake daily office tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the computer technical activities.

Skills and Requirements

• Familiarity with basic computer building. Understanding of computer hardware products.

• 2+ years of experience in a technical role

• Must possess excellent organizational skills and able to follow instructions.

• Effectiveness in research and multi-tasking.

• Able to complete given tasks with accurate results under little supervision.

• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office 365 and MS Outlook.

• Able to lift 40lbs. - Web design and Adobe software knowledge/experience. null
