You will collaborate with experts, apply effective strategies, and implement global procurement processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete purchasing activities, including supplier selection, negotiation for price, quality, timeliness, specifications, and contract administration.

• Provide internal and external customers with timely price quotes and follow up on damaged products, filing freight claims as needed.

• Ensure billing accuracy according to contract specifications and meet inventory goals by managing tracking systems.

• Serve as an operational buyer for managing SAP/Ariba material and service purchase orders, including negotiation and vendor onboarding.

• Coordinate invoices with accounts payable, negotiate with suppliers, and handle claims with carriers in case of damage.

• Analyze and compare commercial proposals, develop negotiation strategies, and prepare supplier contracts in collaboration with the internal legal department.

• Develop and maintain efficient supplier relationships through risk/performance management and keep procurement master data updated in SAP/Ariba.

• Coordinate and manage Supplier Change Notifications (SCNs) using Trackwise and ensure smooth collaboration with suppliers and internal departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Proficient in German and English (C1).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement and Sourcing, with experience in the Pharma Industry as a plus.

• Strong contract negotiation, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to meet complicated service demands and timelines.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with flexibility to collaborate in different international project teams.
