We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Leominster, Massachusetts. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be operating within the manufacturing industry, overseeing the entire accounting and budgeting process. This role entails managing a range of tasks, from processing journal entries and performing reconciliations to managing the accounts payable and receivable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire monthly close process, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Handle journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliancy.

• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

• Prepare monthly reporting packages, providing detailed and accurate financial information.

• Oversee the budgeting process, including tracking and management throughout the year.

• Implement and maintain standard costing procedures, ensuring accurate cost accounting.

• Provide support for the HR function, assisting with payroll when necessary.

• Use Microsoft Excel, and SAP for various accounting tasks, including account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience in executing Bank Reconciliations

• Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger

• Skilled in creating Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks

• Experience with Oracle

• Familiarity with SAP

• Knowledge of Cost Accounting
