Job Description: This role will provide a $2,500 Sign on bonus. We are currently hiring for 12 hour Night Shift schedules. You will work 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM while training. The Reliability Tech is a position that supports the planning and execution of product and business development projects in terms of development, launch execution, and post-launch evaluation. The Maintenance Technicians are multi-skilled system experts in their assigned area, and are highly functional in multiple areas. The Technicians must also ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. Functions as a member of a maintenance area team which is directly responsible for the efficient maintenance of a group of assets to a baseline state. This includes: troubleshooting, repair and maintain specific machinery in the assigned area. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives. What are we looking for? Education & Professional Qualifications
- Industrial Maintenance, Journeyman, or vocational schooling preferred. Must demonstrate experience with mechanical-electrical skills
- Some previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lifting 25lbs.
- Possess basic computer skills, knowledge of simple programs such as Excel and Word.
Knowledge / Experience
- Self-Development: Ability to learn additional skills and develop in role with additional responsibilities.
- Machine shop tool, fabrication, welding experience, plumbing, pipefitting, not required but is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of factory processes
- Strong analytical, communication, mechanicaland electrical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to transfer knowledge and training experiences to others
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues as they arise in the areas
- Candidate must be willing to travel to other Royal Canin sites to gain knowledge of how to maintain equipment to be installed at the site

What will be your key responsibilities?
Performs all assigned activities & job tasks within a line or area
Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level.
Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustmentsand malfunction troubleshooting.
Performs equipment PM'sas assigned.
Capable of troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.
Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
Understand and implement calibration on defined equipment within area ownership.
Support Operations in equipment setup, changeoverand training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
Understands maintenance scheduling, planning, and inventory management.
Area owner for maintenance activities answering line calls for reactive maintenanceon their shift.
Performing work orders as part of the planned schedule of Mx tasks and executing to those plans with proper close out of work orders
Performing work orders as part of reactive line calls and closure of work orders.
Effectively communicate with Operators, Peers, Supervisors and all levels of management on a daily basis.
Provideenthusiastic support where needed and complete other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
Demonstrate high customer focus, "service with a smile" in all aspects of the work we perform for our peers and team mates.
Peer to peer shift handoffs demonstratingareliable member of the team, punctual attendance is required.
