Kitchen Assistant start time 5:00am

SeniorsPlus has an immediate opening for a full-time position (38 hours/week) in our Lewiston Meals on Wheels (MOW) kitchen facility.

This is a Monday-Thursday position working 5:00a-3:00p. The individual in this position will provide food service tasks to assist with food preparation and packaging of meals for home delivery to MOW clients in a team environment of collaboration and interactions with staff and volunteers. Additionally, the individual will also assist with kitchen cleanup as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with one to three months food service experience and knowledge of safety and sanitation standards; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Minimum of one to three months of food service/kitchen experience

Ability to Commute:

• Lewiston, ME (Required)
