Full time position, 36 to 40 hours per week WAGE: DOE

JOB SUMMARY:

The Dispatcher and Relief Driver will answer transit phone, schedule rides, dispatch drivers, and keeps driver's schedules up to date. .

DUTIES:

Answers the transit phone and runs 2 way radio

Takes ride requests, call back clients to confirm rides and schedules rides

Dispatches drivers to waiting passengers

Keeps drivers schedules up-to-date

Must be willing and able to drive as needed

Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. .

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Works on computers for extended periods of time.

Must be able stoop, bend, stretch, and climb ladders.

Must be able to complete the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis; as well as sitting, standing, stooping, or squatting for extended periods of time.

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
