Job Title: Mig Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a first shift production welder in a manufacturing environment. You will be working with a manufacturer that supports the concrete/asphalt industry, creating everything from mixers, silos, tankers, trucks, and other equipment used in the making or application of asphalt/concrete. Welding and fabricating work on structural steel or larger equipment, material, or components is essential.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Belleville, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

1. Current schedule is 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional 10-hour shifts during busy periods.

2. Winter months are busier, while summers are slower with mostly 8-hour shifts. There have been no layoffs.

3. All training is on the job. You will be paired with a team member who will show you the ropes for the products you will be working on, usually in teams of 2 people.

4. Dress code requires long pants and steel-toe shoes. An annual $75 steel-toe shoe allowance is provided in the first paycheck of the year.

5. Starting pay is $20.19 per hour with evaluations at 6 months and 1 year for potential raises.
