Job Summary | The position is responsible for the Management of UK Rosenberg College of Law Faculty Hiring Process, Promotion & Tenure/Contract Renewal, Evaluations, DOEs, etc; Manage Staff Hiring Process, Position Updates/Reevaluations, Performance Evaluations, etc.; Payroll Management; Employee Cost Distribution; and Professional Standards, Customer Service and Compliance. The individual will manage the on-boarding of faculty and staff and will interview and hire all student employees in the dean’s office. In addition, the position manages the daily HR functions in the office. The position will also be responsible for payroll for all staff including those on bi-weekly and monthly pay. In addition, the HR Manager is responsible for employee records and specifically maintaining accurate faculty records. The position will manage the information in the faculty database and ensure it’s accuracy. The position will work with the Retention, Promotion and Tenure committee to complete the faculty promotion and tenure dossiers.
