Job Summary | The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food & Environment department of Veterinary Science seeks a self-motivated dependable individual with a passion for caring for ruminant animals for the Animal Resource Coordinator role. The department of Veterinary Science assures the health and viability of animal agriculture through teaching, discovery, research, and service. The Animal Resource Coordinator is a key member of the team. The Coordinator help to maintain a 70 acre farm in Woodford County including mowing, fence repair, maintaining equipment, and ordering supplies. Duties include feeding and maintaining a herd of 55 senior horses including monitoring health and coordinating routine care. Extensive horse handling is involved, with rotating pastures as well as assisting with University projects and veterinary care.
