Job Title: Civil Drafter/DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Drafter/Designer to join our team. This role involves utilizing CAD software to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, hydrostatic drawings, and typical construction methods for pipeline routing projects. You will support Mappers, Engineers, and Project Managers through a variety of tasks and use Excel tables with engineering information to add data to drawings. You will be accountable for self-checking drawings to ensure quality before submitting for peer review and performing some QA/QC of other designers and drafters.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, and hydrostatic drawings.

• Support Mappers, Engineers, and Project Managers through a variety of tasks.

• Use Excel tables with engineering information to add data to drawings.

• Self-check drawings to ensure quality before submitting for peer review.

• Perform some QA/QC of other designers and drafters.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CAD, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Experience in civil survey and drafting.

• Knowledge of grading, pipeline routing, and pipeline design.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Map, pipeline construction, and pipeline engineering.

• Experience with land development, grading, design, and surveying.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Civil 3D.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map, and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of GIS software is a plus.

• Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the Lexington office. You will have an individual desk equipped with multiple monitors. Our company is diversifying its portfolio into the EVP Battery space to push renewable initiatives, offering a dynamic and forward-thinking work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $45.00/hr.
