Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Lexington, Kentucky
Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the hospitality industry, located in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling reservation requests and providing support over the phone. The open positions have several seats available with a schedule of 2:30p-11:00pm. There are a couple available days of the week schedule bundles to choose from, but working hours will be the same, 2:30pm-11:00pm, to handle customers in different time zones. Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage customer reservation requests, including new requests and modifications to existing ones
• Accurately input reservation details into our system to ensure client needs are met
• Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of issues over the phone
• Maintain clear and detail-oriented communication with all clients and internal departments
• Start assigned duties on time and ensure timely delivery
• Handle both inbound and outbound calls within departmental Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals
• Complete reservations within the expected departmental KPI goals
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in managing inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with call center operations and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer service issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of customers.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills to provide appropriate solutions for customers.
• Must have a customer-oriented approach and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to call center operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
• Detail-oriented demeanor and appearance in line with the hospitality industry's high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Further training or certification in customer service would be an advantage. TalentMatch®
