Required License/Registration/Certification | Nationally certified DME Specialist (CDME) by Board of Certification to be obtained within 9 months of hire. |
Physical Requirements | This position requires regularly performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; intermittently standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and occasionally sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and working at heights above four feet and/or in confined spaces. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials, and exposure to loud noises and cuts/punctures. |
Shift | Monday thru Friday 8am-430pm. Hours and days of week subject to change based on needs of the service line. |
Job Summary | Seeking dynamic leader, experienced in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) business to join our team as DME Staff Manager. Prior experience in DME, leadership, healthcare inventory, logistics is preferred. Healthcare and/or DME experience highly preferred. Knowledge of DME billing/inventory management systems is a plus. The position will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the UK DME store and supervising staff. The successful person in this position will be organized, have excellent attention to detail, be able to evaluate options and make efficient decisions, and be dedicated to quality patient care. There is an IEBC being considered. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of leadership, DME, or healthcare inventory, receiving, or logistics experience preferred. Healthcare and/or DME experience highly preferred. Registration with KY Board of Pharmacy may be required. |
