JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the investing process by assisting portfolio managers with fixed income and equity analysis including research activities, securities modeling and analysis, and written reports on individual securities or mutual funds
Be able to take instruction and apply suggestion to assist portfolio managers in the analysis of individual common stocks or mutual funds or fixed income securities.
Possess the ability to communicate information and analysis to the portfolio managers
Candidate should be able to perform other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, assisting with special projects for the Investment Department and/or other functional areas of CTIC, and assisting with daily operational activities of CTIC.
Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
Progress toward an undergraduate college degree is required
Above average math skills required
Proficient/knowledgeable in use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Acrobat necessary
Must have taken an Investments class as an undergraduate student
Must have taken an Accounting class as an undergraduate student
Reasonable oral and written communication skills
