Job Overview:
Oversee the company's benefits programs, including health and welfare, finance, employee assistance and other unique benefits. Responsibility to implement and promote competitive benefit programs to attract and retain top talent. Ensure the company's compliance with federal and state laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits:
- Research and administer attractive employee benefits programs and p rovide recommendations on design and administration of plans.
- Maintain and adjust a competitive benefits posture through education and research of market trends.
- Research benefit issues and identify compliance risks while developing solutions.
- Partner with vendors, finance, and other internal partners on required benefit reporting actions.
- Assist with the development of participant communications to ensure full understanding of benefit offerings to employees.
- Develop and ensure the distribution of required notices, reporting, and SPDs.
- Manage vendors benefit testing system enhancements internally and externally to ensure timely processing for new hires, and terminations.
- Conduct periodic benefit education and training sessions.
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy of deductions, benefits data, and application of benefits.
- Ensure benefit compliance under all federal and state laws is achieved.
Compliance:
- Conduct quarterly and annual reviews to monitor adherence to rules and regulations.
- Develop compliance programs for the company based on state and federal laws.
- Evaluate team members' knowledge of policies and educating them on work-related laws and regulations.
- Improve areas of the business to ensure all departments meet state or federal requirements.
- Monitor, review and report on any federal, state changes that may affect the Companys compliance requirements,
- Lead company documentation compliance reviews to include:
- Posting Notices
- Employee Handbook and Company Policies
- HR Forms
- Mandatory Federal and State Filings (EEO-1 and Vets 4212)

``` - Monitor State and Federal regulatory changes and lead change processes. - Work with the CHRO and Director of HR to manage changes in compliance requirements.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in HR Management or related field.
- 10-15 years of HR experience to include Benefit Administration and knowledge of compliance regulations.
- UKG or ADP experience, preferred.
- Understanding and working knowledge of HRIS, to include Deltek Costpoint (preferred)
- Strong benefit implementation background.
- Maintain relationships with outside vendors, insurance companies and outsourced benefits consulting firms to ensure that all plans are administered in compliance with government regulations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
