POSITION SUMMARY

Nestlé Gabon is currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator who will proactively collaborate with customers, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders to visibly impact and steer the Value Chain to define and deliver on the business priorities and bottom-line management. Needs to provide a strong leadership role for the integration and optimization of Nestlé in the Market and establish a motivated Supply Chain organization.

YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Strongly support Nestlé in the Market, drive and influence the creation of business strategy, its enablers (e.g. LEAN, FreshNes, Route to Market) and overall business management decisions.

  • Develop business partnerships that create sustainable value for customers, suppliers and for Nestlé by instilling a mindset of service orientation.

  • Be the custodian of business planning, implement and enable cross/ functional alignment with the Group/ Nestlé in the Market/ business priorities and challenges. Create and communicate a compelling Supply Chain vision that maximizes the value of operations to make it a competitive advantage.

  • Procurement- Be a recognized value adding business partner and support growth through adherence to Procurement processes for ensuring sustainable quality, compliance, quantity requirements and: - Influence the organization's Service & Indirect Materials spends.

  • Develop as well as coach team members for personal, professional growth and empower leadership teams. Ensure that there is Supply Chain talent pool.

  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement in Supply Chain operations. Drive initiatives on sustainability and shared value.

  • Drive quality and regulatory controls. Safety and security measures to be in place to achieve flawless execution and cost optimization.

  • Influence industry forums on current and future Supply Chain trends and practices.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience (more depending on market size/ complexity

  • Successfully led a team at operational and business unit level for people development- Strategic and operational experience at market / business level, in at least one (preferably two) of the following areas: Demand & Supply Planning, Inter-market Supply, Customer Service, Physical Logistics.

  • It will be of value to have additional working experience in some of the following areas:

Transportation, Procurement, Sales, Key Account Management, Customer Channel Sales Development, Marketing, Finance: Business Planning / Dynamic Forecasting, Supply Chain Development, Project Management, Factory operations, Business Excellence / GLOBE.

  • Working outside home market and a non-Supply Chain area is an advantage.

  • Must be a Gabonese.
