Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for a long-term project located at 735 North Thayer Rd. Lima, OH. The project operates on a schedule of 4-10 hour days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for additional hours including Saturdays. Overtime opportunities are available. This role involves a variety of electrical tasks, including conduit installation, wiring, and grounding.

Responsibilities

• Install PVC conduit and overhead conduit

• Set up light fixtures and cable trays

• Perform grounding and wire installations

• Handle temporary wiring and devices

• Work on duct banks and trenches

• Read and interpret blueprints with minimal supervision

• Comfortably work at heights and out of lifts

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of relevant electrical experience in commercial/industrial settings

• Proficiency in PVC conduit bending and installation

• Experience with temporary wiring and devices

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• IEC/ABC electrical certification

• Aerial Lift Certification

• OSHA 10 certification (required)

• Experience in troubleshooting and repair in industrial construction

Work Environment

This project is located at a busy P&G site and will remain active through September, with the possibility of continued employment based on performance. The role requires outdoor work, so appropriate rain gear and boots are necessary. Standard PPE including type 2 hard hat, safety vest, and hand tools are required. Be prepared to work in a dynamic and demanding industrial environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
