Job Title: Technician
Job Description
As a Technician, you will be responsible for locating and detecting leaks at various work locations. The role primarily involves working in manufacturing or plant settings to repair leaking pipes. You will measure parts that need repair, use hand and power tools for drilling and tapping, and install clamps to fix the leaks. Additionally, you will interface with clients at customer sites and collaborate with the lead technician to complete repairs.
Responsibilities
Locate and detect leaks at work locations.
Repair leaking pipes in manufacturing/plant settings.
Measure parts using tape measures and calipers and send measurements to the manufacturing facility.
Use hand and power tools for drilling and tapping parts.
Install clamps to fix leaks.
Interface with clients at customer sites.
Collaborate with the lead technician to complete repairs.
Oversee a territory within a 5-hour radius from Lima, OH, including Ohio, West Virginia, Southern Michigan, North Eastern KY, and Western PA.
Respond to on-call duties 24/7 within an hour.
Clock in and out from home, with travel time paid.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Ability to read a tape measure and use calipers.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Operation of an iPad and cell phone for work-related tasks.

Work Environment
Day shift with standard hours from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, though flexibility is required. You will be on call 24/7 and need to respond within an hour. The average workweek is 50 hours but can vary. You will work in various manufacturing plants with different environmental conditions, including exposure to outside elements year-round.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $93600.00/yr.
Will be paid for a minimum of 40 hours a week even if they do not work 40
Benefits after 45 days - see me for benefits package
OT after 8 hours daily and anytime on Saturday, Doubletime anytime on Sunday and Doubletime evening/early morning hours
Will be given company cell phone, and ipad
May be given company vehicle, credit card
Per Diem is paid any day they work 12 hours or any overnight stay - $50/day -- paid daily
Paid every 2 weeks

clock in when leave house and clock out when get home - paid for commute/travel time
