Position Summary :

The Graphic Case Production Manager is responsible for directly managing supervisors and team leads working within the Graphic Case department. This effort includes, but is not limited to improve the efficiency of the operations by studying and applying generally accepted machining and manufacturing methods while keeping employees and machines engaged. This individual works with the entire department, vendors and upper management to ensure the graphic cases are being made up to company standards and shipped in a timely manner.

Essential Functions :

  • Manager the sheet metal fabrication and assembly operations for Graphic Cases

  • Create a cross departmental shift plan which allows first shift managers to communicate effectively the task/goals of each department expectations for shift performance

  • Ensure all off-shift departments are proactively working to meet the goals and objectives specified in the daily, weekly and monthly production plans

  • Ensure building security by enforcing current facility policies

  • Demonstrate positive leadership qualities through employee engagement and open communication

  • Carry out the execution of general manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and cost reduction processes

  • Drive quality initiatives throughout the organization to minimize and eliminate scrap, rejects and non- conformances

  • Elevate all issues, which are beyond your scope of execution immediately upon realization

  • Work with the Facilities Organization to schedule equipment downtime to perform preventive maintenance during second shift

  • Support the Company’s compliance to federal, state, and local environmental legislation by identifying, assessing and reporting/resolving problems concerning the environment

  • Communicates thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management in an honest, professional and respectful manner, while demonstrating effective listening skills

  • Flexible with time and scheduling to assure availability to Globus as circumstances warrant

  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for senior management decisions

  • Confers with other functional management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes

  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies

  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience within the Medical Device Industry

  • 5+ years’ experience in Leadership Roles, with experience training, developing, disciplining, reviewing and motivating employees

  • 5+ years’ experience that has included leading and implementing change in a manufacturing environment

  • High School Diploma necessary, Post-Secondary Degrees preferred but not required

  • Must have experience with sheet metal fabrication

  • Demonstrated high level of performance in current and previous positions

  • Working knowledge of computers and computer systems

  • Demonstrated initiative and desire to drive change and is motivated to exceed expectations Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possesses statistical knowledge and the ability to apply analysis techniques to product and process improvement projects

  • Possesses a solid understanding of Manufacturing Principles including Process, Information and Material Flow

  • Project Management skills capable of meeting deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-starter

  • Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
