Aerotek Electrical Technician in Lincoln, Nebraska

Job Title: Electrical Technician--First Shift (7am - 3pm)

Job Description

Will work independently at the facility, troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventive maintenance (PM) on all equipment.

  • Installation and maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment

  • Troubleshooting: Use testing devices to identify electrical problems and perform diagnostic assessments

  • Safety: Ensure safety and quality control by following safety regulations and running tests on electrical systems

  • Planning: Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the best placement of electrical components

  • Calibration: Calibrate instruments to meet the needs of a job or client

Work Environment

The environment is heated but not cooled. It usually remains comfortable because there's no corrugator at this facility. With all the machines running, it is a loud environment. The facility is not dirty, dealing with cardboard, so clothes will not get ruined or dirty. The dress code includes steel or composite toes, jeans/pants, T-shirt, and layers as needed. PPE includes steel toes/composite, safety glasses (provided), and hearing protection (provided). The hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm, with opportunities for additional overtime.
