Job Overview and Responsibilities

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Credit Management, Procurement, Human Resources and Transformation activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Process Standards and Knowledge Specialist with expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving process standards, BPM initiatives, and knowledge management systems across the organization. This role involves working closely with the GBS Services Lines to ensure that best practices are documented, shared, and implemented effectively. The Process Standards and Knowledge Specialist will report to the Service Excellence Manager and will be part of the GBS Transformation and Service Excellence team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain process standards and documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.

  • Implement and manage knowledge management systems to capture, store, and share organizational knowledge.

  • Lead BPM initiatives to analyze, design, implement, and optimize business processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document best practices, process improvements, and lessons learned.

  • Ensure that process standards and knowledge management systems align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide training and support to employees on process standards, BPM tools, and knowledge management techniques.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process standards, BPM initiatives, and knowledge management practices, making adjustments as needed.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in process standards, BPM, and knowledge management.

  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders on process standards, BPM activities, and knowledge management outcomes.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology or a related field.

Proven experience of minimum 7-10 years in process management, BPM, knowledge management, or a similar role.

Proficiency in knowledge management tools and software.

Technical expertise in areas within GBS preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Must-have language skills

Fluent in English (both written & spoken)
