Insight Global Sr. Project Manager in Lititz, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join a Manufacturing client in the Lancaster/Lititz area. This company manufacturing a variety of materials used heavily in the Aerospace, Automotive, and other Manufacturing industries. This particular project manager will be spending about 25% of their time assisting with a new plant opening, however this is 3-5 years out from finishing (land recently purchased). Other time will be spent meeting with C Suite and other business leaders for general project management to track progress, prioritize tasks, etc. Including must win battle projects and approximately 8-9 other workstreams. This is a generalist Project Management role and will be in a variety of domains from building new manufacturing facilities, to IT projects, to ongoing efforts around Cultural Mindset.

The project manager will lead the planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of projects. They are responsible for successful execution of projects managed (within scope, budget and timeline) as well as establishing standards and best practices for effective Project Management. You will identify and tackle intrinsically hard problems (e.g. ambiguous, with little to no existing structure, have significant business risk and/or potential for significant impact), and resolve issues by utilizing strong influencing skills. Collaboration with key stakeholders is critical to ensure project outcomes meet or exceed expectations. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced, ever changing environment and effectively build change management strategies into the programs you support.

Principal Accountabilities:

 Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives.

 Have a rigorous approach to problem solving and analytics, as well as produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data.

 Providing support and facilitation for end-to-end product introduction process by serving as point of integration to coordinate communications, manage workflow between teams and provide consistent reporting.

 Establishing and supporting a consistent methodology for resource management across key initiatives impacting the business.

 Driving best practice standardization and adoption for project management across the portfolio.

  Manage a portfolio of key workstreams related to commercial and operational strategies. This involves oversight of geographically dispersed cross-functional project teams. The Project Manager will guide project teams through charter and schedule development, creation of project KPIs, and establishment of effective communication tools.

 Engaging in all aspects of project management, including project planning, leadership and management of internal and external resources, management of project execution, risk management, prioritization, schedule and cost control, communication, issue resolution, and contingency planning.

 Serving as a point of escalation for team members issues requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve and ensure timely resolution of issues by focusing on root cause analysis and implementing corrective action plans.

 Managing active projects with an entrepreneurial spirit. Take initiative to escalate issues to the Divisional Steering Group (DSG), plan and propose mitigation plans as appropriate to prevent schedule slip and/or scope creep.

Compensation:

$110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include: Medical, 401K, Vision, etc package provided upon request.
