Aerotek is hiring General Laborers for a Restoration Company

Job Description

As a Restoration Technician, you will be the first responder to urgent calls regarding restoration projects. Your responsibilities include assessing damages, halting further damage, and initiating immediate mitigation efforts. This critical role involves preparing the property for subsequent reconstruction phases. Tasks may involve lifting carpet from flooded basements, cutting drywall to prevent mold growth, moving furniture, or setting up drying equipment. You will also perform demolition processes and manual labor such as water mitigation and flooring removal, set up and take down equipment, take pictures of job sites, clean up debris, and record moisture details using industry-specific apps and software.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 months).

Work Environment

Work sites vary and can be indoors or outdoors. The environment is rarely climate-controlled, although AC trailers are supplied during high-temperature days. The typical schedule is 7:30am-5pm, but overtime is sometimes required, including scheduled on-call shifts that may occur on holidays, weekends, and nights. The job covers a 2-hour radius of Little Rock.
