Job Overview:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Governance Analyst to support the ongoing development and evolution of a cybersecurity governance program. This role will focus on risk management, compliance frameworks, policy development, and executive-level reporting to enhance cybersecurity maturity across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cybersecurity governance, compliance, and risk management, with a strong understanding of frameworks such as NIST, ISO, HITRUST, HIPAA, and PCI. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to make an impact in a fast-paced, regulated enterprise environment with a significant cloud footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support leadership in prioritizing cybersecurity initiatives to align with strategic goals.
• Assist in developing a formal cybersecurity reporting program, including metrics tracking cybersecurity maturity.
• Contribute to branding and communications efforts for the cybersecurity office.
• Help establish and govern cybersecurity leadership steering committees and BISO programs.
• Assess and improve existing policies, standards, and procedures related to security governance.
• Create executive-level presentations and reports for various global audiences.
• Research and interpret industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain regular reporting and track cybersecurity program effectiveness across departments.
• Support compliance with various cybersecurity risk management and regulatory frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in a related field; or Associate\'s Degree + 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED + 4 years of relevant experience.

• 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT governance, risk, compliance, or operations.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity risk management and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR).

• Experience developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.

• Ability to create cybersecurity performance metrics and reporting.

• Experience with cybersecurity controls monitoring and governance.

• Strong understanding of risk management concepts and security best practices.

• Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word).

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in cybersecurity, risk, audit, or project management (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, PMP).

• Experience with GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, OneTrust); implementation experience is a plus.

• Experience in healthcare, biotech, or regulated industries.
