You will play a key role in measuring the impact of Opower products by shaping the way product success is measured, tested, and improved. Using data, you will communicate what we learn internally and with utility clients.

You’ll design and measure some of the largest experiments in history to show how our programs change customer behavior at scale. This work requires a combination of curiosity, creativity, analytical rigor, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities
Dive deep into data to tell stories of how customers are interacting with Opower products and how customer behaviors change as they engage with new Opower experiences
Communicate about Opower products, data science models, experimental design, and measurement to internal and external audiences with a wide range of technical knowledge
Partner with a wide range of teams within Opower – product, marketing, engineering, and account management teams – to provide decision-relevant analytics
Occasional travel (<10%) to client sites as needed to give client presentations
About You
You enjoy discussing and presenting analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
You love solving complex analytical problems by applying a strong understanding of casual inference and other statistical methods
You have a foundational understanding of data science concepts. While you won't be building models or deploying them, you're comfortable collaborating with data scientists and translating insights for clients who may have varying levels of data expertise.
You are passionate about clean energy, behavioral science, and helping the world address energy and climate challenges
You have modeling experience, either academic or in industry, applying popular statistical packages or programming languages to build models.
Coding experience strongly preferred, with SQL and Python as a plus. Experience with other programming languages, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar), or data analysis platforms is also valuable.
Minimum 5 years of experience; energy sector experience a plus
You have a Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, sciences, engineering, business, or related field; Masters or higher a plus

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
