Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our organization's computer systems and infrastructure. This role ensures the smooth operation of our IT environment, providing essential support to our employees and maintaining the security and integrity of our data.

Responsibilities:

System Maintenance and Support:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.

• Perform regular system updates and patches.

• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software problems.

Network Administration:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Monitor network performance and security.

• Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.

User Account Management:

• Create and manage user accounts and permissions.

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.).

• Experience with network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

• Knowledge of security best practices and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms.

• Experience with scripting languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator).

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
