Our Wireless Technology organization is transforming the future of connectivity. We’re doing it by building the country’s first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain telemetry data extraction using Cisco CNC and NSO, ensuring non-invasive access to network device data

• Onboard and configure network devices for telemetry via CNC, implementing YANG-based data retrieval for efficient monitoring

• Manage Kafka data pipelines : Ensuring uninterrupted data flow from CNC to monitoring and alert systems

• Design and analyze KPIs and metrics : Applying critical thinking to enhance network performance and observability

• Monitor CNC and NSO operations: Continuously, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain data reliability for all monitoring platforms

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python, database

• Good working knowledge of Linux

• Web experience such as Flask, Spring, JSP, JavaScript

• Cisco CNC and NSO Expertise : Deep knowledge of Cisco's CNC and NSO platforms, including device onboarding, telemetry data extraction, and configuration

• YANG Modeling and NETCONF : Proficiency with YANG models for optimized data retrieval and device interfacing via NETCONF

• Kafka and Data Integration : Experience in configuring and managing Kafka pipelines for seamless data flow from CNC to monitoring systems

• KPI Development and Network Metrics : Strong analytical skills to design, implement, and monitor KPIs and metrics relevant to network health and performance

• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving : Ability to identify new use cases for metrics and to troubleshoot data flow issues rapidly

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
