Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Responsible for maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on baking equipment and conveyor systems

• Work includes mixing, extruders, refrigeration, proofers, conveyors, boilers, and silos

• Tasks involve replacing, rotating, inspecting, and changing parts of industrial machines, connecting power to machines, installing motors, and rewiring motors

• The role also requires reading blueprints and schematics, moving machinery and equipment using hoists and dollies, performing welding on steel and aluminum materials, running conduit and electrical wiring to new industrial machines, and fabricating parts using a drill press

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on baking equipment and conveyor systems

• Work with and maintain mixing, extruders, refrigeration, proofers, conveyors, boilers, and silos

• Replace, rotate, inspect, and change parts of industrial machines

• Connect power to machines, install motors, and rewire motors

• Read blueprints and schematics

• Move machinery and equipment using hoists and dollies

• Perform welding on steel and aluminum materials

• Run conduit and electrical wiring to new industrial machines

• Fabricate parts using a drill press, including cutting out holes and making parts

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $68000.00/yr.

Direct Hire; health, dental, vision, life insurance. Good work environment, ability to grow in the maintenance department up to a Lead role.

This is a fully onsite position in Livonia,MI.
