Your Role

As a Control Tower Operations Manager you will supervise the daily activities of a supply chain control tower, which serves as a central hub overseeing and managing the movement of goods across a company's entire supply chain, ensuring seamless operations through data analysis, problem identification, and strategic decision-making to enhance efficiency and delivery times; track key performance indicators (KPIs), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and enhance service delivery throughout the supply chain. You will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) or Monday - Thursday (5:00 pm - 3:30 am).

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage daily control tower operations by monitoring real-time logistics data, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple channels

  • Utilize automated systems (such as TMS, WMS, WCS, and IoT platforms) to gain visibility into operations and quickly address potential disruptions

  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics efficiency, cost control, and service levels

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks through proactive monitoring and contingency planning

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the control tower team

  • Monitor end-to-end supply chain operations through the control tower, ensuring real-time visibility of shipments, inventory, and demand fluctuations

  • Use data analytics and predictive modeling to enhance forecasting and demand planning

  • Develop and implement planning strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and implement process improvements

  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding supply chain disruptions, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

  • 5+ years of warehousing experience

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution environment

  • 1+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Improvement

  • Knowledge of various production and quality systems

  • Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint

  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed decisions

  • Ability to develop metrics, dashboards, and detailed reports that drive operational improvements
