Your Role
As a Control Tower Operations Manager you will supervise the daily activities of a supply chain control tower, which serves as a central hub overseeing and managing the movement of goods across a company's entire supply chain, ensuring seamless operations through data analysis, problem identification, and strategic decision-making to enhance efficiency and delivery times; track key performance indicators (KPIs), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and enhance service delivery throughout the supply chain. You will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) or Monday - Thursday (5:00 pm - 3:30 am).
Your Responsibilities
Manage daily control tower operations by monitoring real-time logistics data, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple channels
Utilize automated systems (such as TMS, WMS, WCS, and IoT platforms) to gain visibility into operations and quickly address potential disruptions
Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics efficiency, cost control, and service levels
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks through proactive monitoring and contingency planning
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the control tower team
Monitor end-to-end supply chain operations through the control tower, ensuring real-time visibility of shipments, inventory, and demand fluctuations
Use data analytics and predictive modeling to enhance forecasting and demand planning
Develop and implement planning strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and implement process improvements
Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding supply chain disruptions, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
5+ years of warehousing experience
3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution environment
1+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Improvement
Knowledge of various production and quality systems
Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
Ability to develop metrics, dashboards, and detailed reports that drive operational improvements
