As Brand Marketing Specialist II, you will be a part of the London, UK & Ireland Brand Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Fitness Brand Manager London UK & Ireland and be part of the fitness team driving Nike’s vision on the ground.

You will also work cross-functionally within London UK & Ireland with key partners such as Sports Marketing, Brand Creative, SCI and Consumer Insights in service of our athletes. And you will of course build strong relationships with key partners in the city – a collection of the faces & organisations that we believe best represent our brand.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a talented marketer in the making with a hardcore passion for Nike, fitness, sport and youth culture, and an ability to uncover stories that will inspire the Gen Z/A. An individual with a winning mindset paired with the commitment to make it happen and willing to adapt on the fly.

  • First years of relevant marketing experience within the UK&I market and a demonstrable understanding of the consumer, the city and Nike’s position within it.

  • A clear passion for and understanding of the people, gyms and organisations which make up the UK’s Fitness communities and the key moments/events which are important to the fitness consumer.

  • Clear understanding of the different activities (HIIT, yoga, spin, S&C etc.) within fitness, with extensive knowledge of hybrid fitness culture.

  • A proven track record of translating consumer/member insights into a brand activation

  • Possesses a creative spark to bring new ideas to the table

  • Fully committed to working as a team and until the job is done

  • Enjoys mixing time in the office with time out in the city

  • Ability to connect, foster and manage external relationships

  • Growth mindset and desire to develop as a marketer

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This is a brand marketing role focusing on fitness working on building the on the ground relationships to contribute to the wider fitness marketing strategy and delivering against Nike's seasonal campaigns.

This role you will be responsible for supporting our Fitness Brand point of view in London UK & Ireland including:

  • Supporting the Manager Brand Marketing Fitness in identifying the people & organisations that best align to our brand values and can best bring the fitness strategy to life. Then managing these relationships in a robust yet sustainable fashion.

  • Coordinating with the Geography Fitness Brand team in the Netherlands to support the amplification of key seasonal stories through on-the-ground executions. This can include but is not limited to pinnacle Nike brand executions but also come through our wholesale marketplace in the form of on-the-ground partner marketing executions.

  • Supporting the identification & gathering of structured and continuous consumer insights to allow us to better serve athletes* on the ground in London and UK & Ireland through Fitness and then feeding back these insights to EMEA/Global in order to help refine our longer-term strategy
