What to Expect:
The Production Planner is responsible for executing the forecast & managing production control activities for the Londonderry manufacturing facility and ensures material availability per the Master Production Schedule (MPS). This position requires a motivated individual to analyze monthly data, project manage various activities to completion, establish a solid line of communication with our Stakeholders and implement improvements to the current processes.
Responsible for maintaining and updating the production control activities for the Londonderry manufacturing facility
Responsible for maintaining Master Production Schedules (MPS) in Rapid Response and executing Planned Orders into firmed work orders
Maintains accurate production schedules within formal planning system
Ensures work orders align with full component availability & work center capacity
Meets weekly with Production Scheduler to review and approve build plans
Daily/regular communication regarding SKU availability with Distribution teams & Stakeholders
What we Expect:
Weekly update of Supply Alerts as needed
Responsible for Inventory projections (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Support the Quarterly forecast cycle
Support the Annual Budget cycleSupports IBP
Supply Review Preparations (prepares supply charts as needed)
Performs periodic master data checks and maintenance to ensure integrity of ERP System (lead times, safety stock, capacity models, etc)
Participates in activities impacting product availability (Quality Holds, ECOs, Scrap, etc)
Act as backup for the daily production meeting, prepares information as needed
Education & Experience:
Bachelor degree or equivalent.
5 to 8 years of production control / materials planning experience. Experience assisting or training materials personnel preferred.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $77,900 to $121,800 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
