Job Description:

The Quality Technician B performs MIL-STD-810 environmental tests in the Environmental Test Lab while supporting and interfacing with Quality, Operations and Engineering personnel. Candidates with a background in environmental testing and a commitment to excellence are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions:

• Perform MIL-STD 810 testing.

• Demonstrate an ability, and willingness, to perform multiple, simultaneous, tasks and the technical requirements of the job.

• Be able to follow, and comprehend, work instructions, test procedures and standard operating procedures.

• Setup and operate environmental test chambers, environmental test equipment, vibration equipment and electronic test stations.

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

• Perform basic equipment and product troubleshooting when necessary.

• Independently evaluate products tested.

• Record and compile test data for test reports.

• Some heavy lifting is required.

• Candidate must be able to work overtime, including weekends & holidays, with short notice.

• Maintain reliable attendance.

  Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior quality experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior quality experience.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with MIL-STD environmental testing.

• Prior experience in Quality Assurance.

• Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Proficiency in handling intricate tasks, performing precise movement and attention to detail.

• Proficient with MS Office.
