Hybrid Licensed Vocational Nurse

Startup clinic in Long Beach is looking for a licensed vocational nurse to join their team! Vocational nursing license is required. This is an opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with 75% home health visits !

Required

• Valid vocational nursing license in the state of CA

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Pay

• $35-37/hr.

Job Description

• Travel to the patient’s residence to provide healthcare services, typically seeing 4-5 patients each day.

• Set up and facilitate virtual consultations between the patient and the healthcare provider.

• Organize and update the patient’s medical records, ensuring all relevant information is readily available for the provider.

• Measure and record the patient’s vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate.

• Collect blood samples or other specimens for laboratory testing.

• Administer and fill out health-related questionnaires to gather comprehensive information about the patient’s condition and history.

• Communicate key details and observations about the patient’s health status to the physician.

• Perform home visits and provide care without the need to connect with a provider, when appropriate.

• Spend approximately 25% of the time working from home to handle administrative tasks such as updating records, scheduling appointments, and coordinating care.

Work Environment

Working 75% home health and 25% remote.

Job Type

• 6 month contract to hire.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm

Work Site

LVN's will travel to see 4-5 patients a day anywhere between DTLA and Huntington Beach. Reliable transportation is required.
