Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Production Planner to support our electronics manufacturing team in Longmont. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates with an understanding of electronics and printed circuit board (PCB) assembly. You will assist in scheduling, tracking materials, and coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth production operations and on-time product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling: Help create and manage production schedules to align with customer requirements and capacity.
Material Tracking: Monitor the availability of electronic components and PCBs, ensuring timely production.
Team Coordination: Communicate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to resolve scheduling or material-related issues.
Data Management: Update and maintain records in the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy.
Inventory Support: Track inventory levels for electronic components to prevent shortages.
Documentation and Reporting: Assist in generating reports and documentation to support production planning.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of electronics and printed circuit board (PCB) assembly.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
