Job Description

THIS ROLE WILL REPORT TO THE LONGVIEW SERVICE CENTER

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide leadership support to assist the Contract Coordination Supervisor with job coordination/planning, safety, crew critique, employee development, or other tasks as needed.

  • Inspect and accept or reject contractor work for compliance to safety, design and construction standards and construction quality.

  • Assure contracted construction projects flow smoothly.

  • Resolve customer's concerns associated with work performed by contractors.

  • Document construction events to protect AEP's interest from future claims.

  • Assure contractor invoices are accurate, complete and reasonable.

  • Provide feedback concerning contractor performance to Contract Administration for use in future contracting activities.

  • Certify acceptability of contractor's work for invoice approval and payment.

  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in distribution work processes, procedures and safety standards or equivalent related experience(to include previous supervisory experience), including good working knowledge of distribution operations activities.

Compensation Range:

$96,110.00-124,940.00 USD
