About the Position: This position is with the Army Reserve Aviation Command, Aviation Support Facility Los Alamitos West located in Los Alamitos, California. Responsibilities Serve as a Supervisory Aircraft Pilot for the United States Aviation Support Facility (ASF). Establish work schedules and priorities for subordinates based on workload. Provide training support in all phases of aviation unit operations, aircraft maintenance and supply functions. Formulate, standardize, and implement comprehensive flight standardization, evaluation and training programs. Responsible for the operation of the USAR Aviation Support Facility for the Army Reserve Aviation Command. Basic Requirement: Possession of the appropriate Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pilot certificates, and/or military rating, meeting the applicable flight hour requirements, and possession of the knowledge and skills required for the position. Specialized experience includes: Performing various aviator duties as a Maintenance Test Pilot (MP), or Maintenance Test Pilot Examiner (ME); establishing work schedules, determining priorities, delegating responsibilities, providing feedback to employees, and setting performance standards; assisting with operational budgetary requirements; and providing training in all phases of aviation unit operations, aircraft maintenance and supply functions.
