UCLA Health Accounts Payable Manager (Hybrid) in Los Angeles, California

As one of the nation's top health systems, we maintain a large, multi-faceted accounting operation. In this key management role, you will oversee the processing of approximately 12,000 inovices per month. This will involve guiding, facilitating the development of, and resolving issues for the supervisor, leads and processors, while also service as back up for supervisor. You will be responsible for month-end closing, including the preparation of manual accruals and closing the AP system. You will:
Help review and reconcile various reports
Oversee 1099 reporting
Handle year-end audit and system upgrades/enhancements
Manage ACH authentication, security of business compromises and vendor adds/updates
Comply with regulatory agencies and institutional/operating systems
Facilitate weekly check write
Salary Range: $83,800 - $179,400 /annually
Qualifications
We're seeking a self-directed, customer-focused individual with:
Bachelor's degree or three or more years of directly related experience
A minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience
Background working in a fully integrated payable system, preferably Lawson
Healthcare experience a plus
Ability to perform well with frequent interruptions, under tight deadlines and with heavy workloads
Strong prioritizing abilities
Working knowledge of scanning applications desired
Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office
10-key adding machine abilities with speed and accuracy
