Description
Our client, a Jewish non-profit organization has two open Administrative Assistant positions. For the right candidate, these could be contract to hire roles. You will be responsible for providing accurate, efficient and timely assistance for the assigned Development Department division and professionals. This company offers a 38-hour work week, excellent benefits including all Jewish holidays off and a hybrid schedule (Thursdays and Fridays are remote).
Responsibilities
• Handle front desk support and troubleshooting, maintaining daily contact with donors.
• Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, as well as donor correspondence related to memberships, tributes, and related invoices.
• Coordinate RSVPs and track registration in the donor database for various events.
• Collaborate with team members to support all facets of major events as needed.
• Organize meetings, phone sessions, and events.
• Oversee multiple functions in the donor database (DRIVE), such as maintaining accurate donor files, event registration and batching, seating, and report production.
• Track and process event sponsorships and tribute ads for event journals where applicable.
• Follow up with vendors for contracts and countersignatures.
• Accurately fill out pledge cards with donor information, appeal, and designation.
• Batch pledges and payments.
• Update calendars, carry out general Campaign administration and provide assistance on the floor as needed.
• Assess workload to determine the best procedure to follow.
Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in providing high-quality customer service
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Skilled in managing email correspondence, ensuring timely and detail-oriented responses
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, showcasing effective communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for email management and scheduling
• Experience in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing
