Disney Entertainment Coordinator, Talent Relations & Events (Disney Television Studios) in Los Angeles, California
Disney Television Studios is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for talent relations and event planning. In this role, you will manage personalized gifting for actors and producers, support high-profile events, manage department expenses, and maintain and update a comprehensive talent database. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to two executives in the Talent Relations and Special Events department, including coordinating travel and expenses. The ideal candidate excels in talent-facing roles, has a keen eye for luxury gifting trends, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends are essential for success in this position. Must be an incredibly proactive team player, and have a positive can-do attitude, while always using utmost discretion.
Responsibilities:
Manage department expense reporting, invoice processing, vendor paperwork, and maintain trackers, databases, guest lists, and event calendars.
Oversee the talent database, including representative contacts, cast information, talent birthdays, addresses, and track production timelines, series wraps, and major milestones.
Research and select personalized gifts for talent and producers for various occasions, including birthdays, life moments, and awards.
Assist with fulfilling talent requests for tickets and VIP visits to Disney properties.
Liaise with talent and their representatives, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Support television studio and network/platform events, assisting talent and executives as needed (which can include evenings and weekends).
Assist in planning and executing talent dinners, screenings, receptions, and other talent-facing events, as well as support larger events like premieres, wrap parties, and conventions.
Provide administrative support including travel booking, calendar maintenance and expense processing.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ year of related entertainment industry experience, especially in talent-facing roles and event planning.
Strong interest in talent relations, event planning, and the television industry.
Exceptional taste and in-depth knowledge of luxury items and ability to build partnerships with retailers and vendors.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, remain composed under pressure, and interact effectively with high-profile talent.
Basic understanding of entertainment publicity and industry contacts (agents, managers, publicists, media outlets, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with a positive attitude, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and G-Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of designers and current gifting trends.
Familiarity with Zkipster or other guest management platforms.
Experience with Canva and/or Photoshop.
Passion for television.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
